  1. Let he who is without sin speak up. This is something that is uncertain. The driver was not definitely intoxicated. The writer can’t even list their sources. What is wrong with you, Book em? What happened to innocent till proven guilty? And wakelood, what makes you able to pass judgement on others based on rumors and speculation? I say, let the police sort it out. Yes, its tragic but leave your prayers for the family, not your biased judgement on the accused.

  2. I new him he was praticly my neighbor his girlfriend was my nieghbors daughter their family is basically our family he will be missed. Please this family esspesialy his girlfriend who is having a hard time excepting the death could really use alot of prayer.

  3. To u,n, derstanding
Unless you where being sarcastic you sound like an imbecile regardless if he
was drunk or not he still killed a man a fled the accident for that alone he deserves a severe punishment

  4. toU. N. Derstanding says:
nothing uncertain about the death of this person who was struck and killed by someone who then left the scene of the accident

  5. Smart2, take a look at where it happened. The pedestrian could be just as much at fault for being in the road, on a bend, on a dark street. I truly hope you never experience an accident like this. You are so quick to point a finger but not to think about the situation. Panic is something that no one ever takes into account. You can sit there all you want and blame the driver, but if you were in his shoes, I don’t doubt that you could have done the same.

  6. Any decent human being would have stopped and rendered help to the victim, regardless of his own concerns. A life is a life. Sad that some people can make excuses for someone who takes a life and continues to drive home.

  7. I guess I know what U.N. Derstanding would do. I hope hope if you are ever the person hit more common sense and less (panic) would befall on the driver. If the driver stopped and called 911 that person may have had a chance but to just leave and let them die thats sad.

  8. To #11 (U.D. Derstanding). Let’s hope nothing like this ever happens to any of your loved ones. And I sincerely mean that. Hit and then leave this man in the snow for dead? What kind of person does that? No one I know! Sounds like you know this person. Shame on you.

  9. To #17. “regardless who is at fault.” Are you kidding me? This man was drunk, hit this poor guy and ran from the scene, where he could have mabey saved him. Who do YOU think was at fault???

  10. Yo UN you know who this is its G yea G and I cant swallow what u wrote… (did u know that he walked to the store to get something that his kid needed) — the man that was hit was my brother in law and my hole family specialy my sister is in extreme pain she has not taken a drop of water and still runs out off the house cuz she says he is still outside in the car, his kid is asking when his Daddy is coming home. She goes up to her room because she says he is not dead that he is watching TV. We have not mention the driver at all but now that u do I would like to say to u its not about the driver hitting a man by accident but hitting a man by accident and letting him die just because what ever u say. NA ..#1 u drink dont drive and if u do we all know the consequences in front of a judge. Its sad what happened but we dont wish the driver bad. My man would you done the same thing and maybe fined out the next day or so that this person was someone you loved. Would it make a diference in the way u think, cuz I think u would blame yourself for not stopping and assisting your loved one with everything u have Oh specially dial 911 or have someone dial it. We dont have hate for the driver I guess he knows what he did wrong. Hey UN I have questions about u??? cuz u have a good heart. You know I Love you bro but just do me a huge favor think before u say anything else we have a real hurt family. Oh and his viewing is tomorrow 1/14/2011 after 4pm in Hector and Raquel Salgueros Church. Hope to see you all and thanks for your PRAYERS. Rolando —– R.I.P.
