Just in. PD and EMS have just arrived on the scene of a pedestrian struck at Airport Road and Route 70. The patient is not breathing. The Driver has fled the scene.
U/D 11:18 p.m. Police have stopped the suspects car at the DMV inspection center and he is now in custody. Traffic & Safety are responding to the scene.
U/D 11:35 p.m. CIU units are on scene. Patient is in traumatic arrest.

Very sad. Lakewood EMS are amazing. They deserve alot of credit. it’s very nice to see that they work very nicely with Hatzola too.
the driver of the vehicle was a father of a state trooper, so pd gave him vip treatment, no1 is pressing charges
