A pedestrian is being hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Lakewood this evening.
The accident happened shortly after 6:00 PM on Route 88 near Clifton Avenue.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found the man unconscious.
He was transported by EMS to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with paramedics.
Police have partially shut the road for the investigation.
When there’s a tragedy on the road, it’s not important who’s right but who’s left.
May the Almighty send to this injured person a real quick speedy recovery.
Don’t drive in bad weather period
So from what is stated here I have to ask is this a hit and run ? if so you are the worst of the worst for leaving the scene with someone with injuries !
If a person left the scene, then for sure TLS would have mentioned that the Police are looking for the driver. I am sure that the driver remained on the scene.
