  1. What is with all the pedestrians getting struck lately?! Is walking not safe anymore, or are these people simply not using reflectors?! My gd, it’s like every day there’s another news alert about someone getting hit by a car! Either we need another tzinius kinnus, or (moderated) is coming! (joking abt that last part, tho srsly!)

on a side note, not to be insensitive, but I find it greatly ironic that someone got struck on Martin Luther King drive, on Martin Luther King’s birthday

(okay, that really isn’t something to joke abt. Srry, couldn’t resist 🙁 )

  2. you know, i figure if only 20% of drivers slowed down to the speed limit or 5 mph below they would cause everyone else out there to slow down behind them. hmmmmm?

  3. To #1 Rhonda – it seems you always have the tehilim on the ready which is a credit to you. But just so you know that whenever you see this quote ‘He was transported by Lakewood First Aid to Jersey Shore Medical Center’ it usually is telling you that it was someone from the greater Lakewood community and not someone from the jewish community. Not to suggest that Hatzolah would not transport someome from the greater Lakewood community and not that it’s any less of a concern to all of us when someone has been hit regardless of who that person is but just a name for Tehilim you may not get. We all wish the patient a speedy recovery.

  4. PEDESTRIANS NEED TO REALIZE THAT ALTHOUGH THEY TECHNICALLY HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY WHEN CROSSING FOREST AVE IF YOU DONT WEAR A REFLECTOR YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR LIFE IN DANGER “WE CANNOT SEE YOU” !!!!

  5. Moved from Lakewood 6 years ago. So glad I did. I was scared to death driving in Lakewood. Everyone in a hurry. Things need to change there real fast!!!!!

What does January have to do with inrease of car accidents? I guess with your raesoning Ill assume that Feb. would have the least amount since it has the least amount of days in its month lol. Well lets pray & hope that we hear of no more accidents in any month! Safe Driving & safe Crossing Everybody.

  7. Hey TLS, what’s wrong with the word armageddon? It’s not a swear word or anything, it’s just a word used to describe the end of the world.

@10, no I am not sick, you just don’t have a sense of irony. And I wasn’t trying to make ppl laugh, I was simply pointing out the irony of it, and apologized if anyone read it as a joke instead.
