Pedestrian Lying on Road in Lakewood Run Over by Vehicle [VIDEO – VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED]

A pedestrian lying on the road in downtown Lakewood early this morning was run over by a vehicle, and the incident was caught on video – obtained exclusively by TLS.

At approximately 4:00 AM this morning, a man can be seen dancing in the middle of the road before lying down between the northbound and southbound lanes of Clifton Avenue.

After lying there for several minutes, a vehicle can be seen driving northbound, running over his legs.

The driver continued on, possibly not realizing he had struck the man.

The pedestrian suffered a broken leg, and was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, police told TLS.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department.

  1. Nowadays there is a new game that the kids play in Shul.
They lie on the floor in the hallway and they cover themselves with a coat and they are playing a game.
    Try to find me

  2. Doesn’t look like driver ran away!
It looks like he moved over to find somewhere safe to park his vehicle……..
Apparently guy lying in the street was drunk or something to say the least…….

  3. If a guy is lying on the ground in the middle of the night, wearing dark colored clothing, in the middle of the street, who is at fault if he gets run over?
    Hint: Not the driver!

    • Yes, and another reason to wear reflector – in case are drunk! (Also in case falls off bike – even if bike has lights – as required by law.) But it can also be that he collapsed from the Covid injection. Millions have simply collapsed – without even enough time to sit down. There are many videos of this. People who were healthy with no known health problems before.

  4. I had a similar experience a couple of month back. A guy with a bike laid down in middle of the street on Clifton, next to his bike right before me. I made a short stop and B”H didn’t hit him. He picked himself up and ran off.
I’m assuming he did it for the insurance money.

  5. Looks like a suicide attempt. You would be surprised the number of people that walk into traffic , jump off bridges etc.. They forget or don’t consider the trauma of the public that are affected by their action. Suicide is not a victimless act.
