A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Lakewood this afternoon.
Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Madison Avenue and 9th Street around 4:30 PM.
The patient was transported to MMCSC with non-life-threatening injuries.

Many many many times I see people crossing an intersection with a phone touching the ear.
Why can’t we tell the person on the phone that I am at an intersection and I will call you back very shortly?
