Pearl Blau teachers are now on day 3 of their strike, sources tell TLS. The approximately 45 teachers of the in-school special-ed learning program, went on strike Monday morning after not getting paid in months, and after negotiations failed. However, another meeting is expected to take place later this evening in hopes of reaching an agreement.
Approximately 300 children in the program – offered in many schools in Lakewood – have been affected by the strike.
Before Sep I paid up thousands of dollars.
Where did the $$$$ go???
thats precisely why they went on strike because u paid just wee bit too late like most of you.
how long will this drag out
until everyone who owes money pays.
i just donated to them. were did the money go. SHALOM!!!!!
Its a chutzpa that people don’t pay their tutoring bills on time. They are the cheapest in town.
How did you manage to mix Shalom into this?
Please go outside and tell me if it is raining purple Cadillacs on your block.
GO!
SO Sad to hear, big need but ain kesef
to I just donated. It is quite obvious that you have no idea how much money it takes to run a school etc. Your money went to one of the other neccessary expenses besides payroll. Posting comments that are hurtful to many people who toil day and night for Torah is a terrible thing to do. Maybe you should donate more money instead of bashing. May Hashem watch over you.
When financial problems come up, may i ask why it is always the teachers that must end up on the short list.
These children need much care, and above all they need their teachers, how can ANY SCHOOL ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN, IF YOUR IN TROUBLE FINANCIALLY, ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE,
