Residents In The Park Ave Area Requested To Move Vehicles

plowing park avenue_wmURGENT: 1:08 p.m. PD & the Public Works Department are requesting that residents on Park Avenue, between Fourth and Seventh streets, to please move their vehicles off the road as soon as possible as the Public Works is attempting to clear the snow from the area and cannot get by. PD has also contacted LCSW & Chaveirim in an effort to get the message out to the homeowners.

  1. Now, what about the area around Four Corners? Was there any warning not to park there?? The police just towed a few cars that were parked there and the people have to pay for towing and storage. Is it our problem that the plows decided to clear the streets NOW when they shouldve cleaned up 2 days ago??!! And there was no warning to this!!

  3. Off New Hampshire I saw trucks carefully getting rid of all the “entire” snow from the street (the street was entirely clear but a foot near the sidewalk had snow.) The truck was carefully plowing that one foot of snow on the side of the street. Lets contrast that with near yeshiva or developments it is a disaster zone. Why the trucks didn’t come midday when no cars are parked and plow the road is beyond me.
