PHOTOS (videos will be posted soon) of this evening’s PBA awards for the Police officers, who have risked their lives in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Lakewood. The officers were called up and awarded with a plaque-presented by Chief Rob Lawson and followed by a loud round of aplause by the packed crowd of family and friends attending the ceremony. Also honored, were the SWAT officers involved in the famous September shootout. Several civilians, including Betzalel Goodman of All The Way Towing, LCSW Coordinator Aaron Kugielsky and others, were awarded with a plaque as well for their outstanding community service and assistance to the Lakewood Police Department.
