  1. i hope that everyone can come out for this memorial. please lets come together for our police dept in their time of mourning. they are hurting but they need to see a difference in how we treat our own community. lets use the memory of chris matlosz to provoke the good from within and give back to our officers and our community. see you all there tonight.

  2. I was there with my family and friends (still trying to get over it). My husband came home early to attend. Living in Lakewood, I was surprised and hurt that we saw very few people from the Orthodox community. Oh well…it is what it is. RIP Chris.

  3. So sad. It could bring most of us together at a time like this to understand that we all want the same things in life, even though we’re a little different from each other, it’s OK. We can still pull together and make Lakewood a better, safe place to live for ALL of us. We need to look out for each other. I do, how about you? Yes, tonight was very, very sad. I also have a son, and to think that something like this could happen to him – .well – I can’t even think what his family is going through right now. I don’t know what else to say but G-D bless his family and all of us.
