I am the patient that was extricated and I wish to publicly thank first and foremost HASH-EM for this open miracle and to express my gratitude to HIM for the fact that I am alive and miraculously completely uninjured! I also would like to publicly thank HIS messengers the angels of mercy Hatzolah, Lakewood First Aid, Bikur Cholim, Lakewood Police Department, the entire extended staff of Kimball Medical Center and any other responders ( and there were many) that I may (and most likely) have missed .
I truly appreciate your expert professional care and your personal care that went way above and beyond the call of duty and I do not at all take it for granted (especially right before and on shabbos).
When I was asked (the routine question) to rate the service I was provided with, I unfortunately had to respond that it was second………………………………………………..TO NONE!!
Last but most certainly not least, a personal thank you to the best boss ever Yosef Mutterperl of South Side Sandwich Shop (YUM!!) for everything in general and specifically in this case for walking on shabbos to KMC to visit me and as if that wasn’t enough coming to visit me motzei shabbos in my home with balloons! (By the way Yosef … It was all preplanned there was never any danger it was just a publicity stunt for SSSS! Just kidding obviously ! But it is ironic and uncanny really that it took place right outside of the store)
With a heart full of gratitude,
Shmuel Feitman
BH you are ok!
How was this accident caused? the other drive says you pulled out in front of him and you got a ticket for not yielding..is this true?
I just looked at the pictures on The Lakewood Scoop and realized ( I couldnt see much at the time ) that the Lakewood Fire Department responded also ( thank GO-D the car didnt explode as I feared it would… it was smoking badly! )and I wished to thank them also.
I truly appreciate and imagine I can safely represent all of Lakewood in expressing my gratitude to Lakewoods Finest and Bravest the Lakewood Police Department and the Lakewood Fire Department for putting the safety of their own lives on the line on a daily basis to protect ours.
again with much gratitude,
Shmuel Feitman
Its obvious that you are a very grateful person. Its one of the best attributes that a person could have, because if a person is a grateful person than he appreciates all that the One Above gives him as he realizes its all from Him, and when one is a ‘makir tov’ everything else follows. Its great news that you are B”H ok, may you continue to have hatzlocho in all that you do.
I’m happy to see that you are o.k.
when i heard of the accident i got really worried.
a gut voch. the barber!!:-)
Shmuel, we your fellow members of the PCS MIS course share in the shevach V’hodaha to the Rebono shel Olam. We can not imagine the course without your inspiring presence.

Happy ur OK. Yosef is takeh a great guy & the food @ SSSS is fantastic. As a BC vol I also wanne thank YM for letting BC park their vans lus{s therea whole summer. Also a big yasher Koach to the big ole Texas Longhorn. Now, that’s a sandwich. That alone could’ve blown the roof off !!
Shmuel to hear glad that you are OK. If and when you need a car I’ll take good care of you !
Perhaps we can take this story to heart & start learning how to appreciate everything-from out bodies (Yasher Yatzar with more Kavana) to all the amazing things that Hashem created from self growing trees to technology that 40 years ago would have sounded crazy AKA:a Fax machine where i can send a paper to ISRAEL IN LESS THEN 30 SECONDS ETC…-& start thanking hashem from our heart (& not just with our mouths). when we say Birchas Hashachar in the mornings there’s so much for us to appreciate that Hashem did not have to give us at all. MAY WE ALL LEARN FROM THIS STORY
I looked at the pictures and I saw Lakewood EMS was also there. It’s nice to see them working with these other agencies as well. Good job to everyone.
YM from SSSS is part of the LFD (as well as a being a volunteer for numerous other organizations) and is a role model we should all follow!
