Patient Airlifted to Hospital After Suffering Chemical Burn in Lakewood [VIDEO]

As earlier reported on TLS Status, a patient is being airlifted to the hospital today after suffering a chemical burn in Lakewood.

The incident happened around 9:45 AM when an employee was reportedly using a chemical agent to clean a floor at a new store on County Line Road.

The patient was treated on scene by Hatzolah and Lakewood EMS for non life-threatening injuries and then transported via chopper to the Livingston Burn Center.

Police and other agencies are investigating the incident.
