PHOTOS & VIDEO [UPDATED 5:30 PM] Multiple emergency personnel are currently working to extricate a patient trapped in a vehicle following a serious accident.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Brook Road and County Line Road.
EMS, Hatzolah, Lakewood First Aid and the Lakewood Fire Department are on scene, and are working to cut the roof off the vehicle to free the trapped driver.
UPDATE: The victim is being airlifted to Jersey Shore, with serious injuries.
CIU and Traffic & Safety are investigating the accident.

CIU is called in for serious and/or possibly fatal accidents. They don’t just do criminal investigations, their name doesn’t encompass all they actually do
