Passing of longtime Lakewood resident Mr. Harry Saxon Z”L

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Harry Saxon Z”L, a longtime Lakewood resident who was Niftar today.

Mr. Saxon Z”L, a resident of Lakewood since the 1950s, served as a teacher in the Lakewood school system, and was a member of the Congregation Sons of Israel for approximately 60 years. He was 95.

The Levaya will be taking place at 11:00 am Monday at the Holocaust Memorial Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue.

Kevurah will take place at the nearby Bais Olam at approximately 11:30 am.

  1. Such a nice man. I remember him coming to the 4th Street Shul for many years and always helping out to make sure that there was a minyan there before the area got so populated. there were times that we had to get people from the Lexington Rest Home to make a minyan. HISTORY HISTORY!!!
