  1. linsanity, its possible that someone keeps planting these empty suitcases so that LPD will tire of checking out nothing, and then the real bomb will ch”v be planted

  2. What if it was a bomb or something, better safe then sorry, this town one can never know, so I am glad the LPD AND LFD are on the scene

  3. Linsanity,

I believe Smithy’s point is that before Hiroshima, there was never an atom bomb. So if you were commenting on a blog the day before the atom bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, you probably would have commented: “There was never an atom bomb in Hiroshima, so there is nothing to be concerned about.”

And then the next day the bomb was dropped……

Point being, it’s okay to be concerned, even if it never happened yet. Because the fact that it never happened yet doesn’t preclude it from happening.

  4. The residents on top of the stores do not use garbage cans they leave the garbage around the trees and then garbage truck pick it up every day!!!

  5. “a safe box with a lock on it” – if something ever sounded like a ‘dry run’ this would be it!

thats just weird. who would waste a lock? who would waste a safe box? who would dispose of it at that location? very odd.

  6. I agree with #s 5 & 17. maybe somebody is doing dry runs to see what kind of response they’ll get & how long it takes.very odd indeed.
