Parnassah Network Announces New Vocational Classes for Men and Women

On the heels of last month’s highly successful Parnassah Expo at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, Parnassah Network has opened registration for an array of vocational training classes tailored to the unique needs of the Lakewood community. The classes follow several successfully completed vocational classes and are run in conjunction with Ocean County College’s Vocational Training School at various state-of-the-art campuses around the Lakewood area.

New on the horizon are computer classes for both beginners and those with limited experience, as well as exclusive women’s medical terminology and medical receptionist classes. This offers a unique opportunity for female income earners, since healthcare is seen as one of the few bright spots in our difficult economy. In addition, enrollment is now open for some of the previously held courses, which graduated many Lakewood residents with great success. They include: comprehensive training in electric, plumbing, welding, automobile mechanics and HVAC-R.

All Parnassah Network classes are conveniently scheduled, and there are under 20 lessons, of approximately 2.5 hours each, per course. “Everyone has different interests and skills,” says Parnassah Network Director Reb Duvi Honig. “B’ezras Hashem, we can find something to help each individual fulfill their dreams.”

  1. I think it will be beneficial if there would be a class teaching girls/woman how to be efficient Secretary’s; how to answer a phone, when putting a customer on hold, ask if its OK, don’t place them on hold for 10 minutes, then ask who they are holding for…
I recently called a office, and the girl on the other side was chewing gum, come-on, its gross…
    these are basics.
if a girl has the basics down, they can earn a few $ more per hour.
    … Just saying.
