Parnassah Expo’s Founder Lobbies In Washington As Planning For Nationwide Parnassah Expo Begins

PHOTOS: R’ Duvi Honig, the founder of Learn & Network and the Parnassah Expo, was in Washington this week lobbying officials as he begins planning for the second Parnassah Expo.

This year’s expo, the second of its kind, will be available to Frum communities from around the Tri-state area and beyond. Details of the location and plans will be announced in the near future, Honig says.

Honig traveled to Washington to garner support of the Congressmen from the various Jewish districts he hopes to target in the new nationwide expo.

In its inaugural event this past Winter, the Parnassah Expo drew thousands of Frum people from all over the Tri-state area, and resulted in hundreds of people hired.

  1. To TLS can you please forward this message to R’ Duvi Honig that we need an expo of this sort in brooklyn. There are many big halls like ateres chaya and ateres chynka to hold the many people that came last time. I had sent him an email lat time (dont know if that email is the same or was just for the expo at the time) asking if there will be another expo in brooklyn and he said he is working on it. Please let him know to bring to brooklyn. And let him know he is doing an amazing chesed and is appreciated. Also if he can’t bring it to brooklyn he should set up something for those who can’t make it to the expo that they can send in their resumes. Thank you Ksiva V’chasima Tova.

  2. R’ Honig should b gebentched! He is doing such an amazing chesed for the klal, to describe it us beyond words. As someone who sat unemployed for almost two years WITH a degree I know how tough it is for those in that situation. He is doing so much to alleviate this and deserves our full support.

  3. in order for R Duvi to succeed he should monetize the project. in other words, he must make money off it. i know its easier said than done. that’s the only way it will last & be successful.

i know…its against logical instinct from a political prospective.

  4. Im assuming your not gonna post this because you only allow criticism of things that you don’t like but im gonna try.where do you get the number that 100’s of people were hired? That’s a completely fabricated number that made up by parnassa expo with nothing to back it up give us the names of the companies that hired people and how many did each one hire

  5. To #5 if the parnassahnetwork.com was intented for me as I stated in #1 that TLS should pass on my message and that he should have some sort of way for those who can’t make it to the expo to send their resumes to him, I already no about that site and I am signed up. It is n amazing sight and check for updates continuesly. My suggestion was that he should have a seperate one to be given to the jobs that will be at the expo for thos that can’t make it. Hatzlach.
