Overturned vehicle shuts part of Rt. 88 in Lakewood

Part of Route 88 in Lakewood is shut this afternoon due to an overturned vehicle with a pole and wires down.

The single-vehicle accident occurred in front of Ocean County park at approximately 4:40 PM.

No serious injuries are being reported at this time.

Route 88 is being shut between New Hampshire Ave. and North Oakland.
