  1. That corner, and New Hampshire/Cedar Bridge, is a magnet for accidents. Luckily, the EMS building is right there! I am willing to bet, a car was racing down new hamshire at 60 mph, trying to beat the red at pine, and missed, i see this time and time again, something really needs to be done. I bet red light cameras at those intersections would cut these incidents in half

  2. they have to send an engineer to that intersection to figure out why there are so many accidents happening theee!

There is also no money for this to happen as well.

  3. Imagine what the situation will be in the future when 16,000 more people are projected to live in the Cedarbridge Town Center and the Oak Street area housing developments!!!
This area is hilly. People think New Hampshire is a speed way, and yes they speed to the traffic light.

  4. Part of the problem is that trucks are constantly entering and exiting the Industrial Park, and the block the view of oncoming traffic who are trying to make left turns. So the cars that are turning and the opposing traffic that is heading up (or down) New Hampshire do not see each other until it is too late, many times even if they were driving within the speed limit.

  5. #10 stated – maybe just make a “no turn on right” sign. Then everyone will complain……………..

I do believe the Township Public Works has the tools, equipment and materials to make a sign which shouldn’t cost that much since we already paid for everything. If we need the County or State approval don’t think that will be a problem since they are just as broke as Lakewood is.

  6. The problem is everyone needs to slow down and that my friends cost NOTHING. Slow down, pay attention to your surroundings and live for another day. # 3 your 100% correct, the traffic camera would correct allot of bad driving habits in good old Lakewood and generate $$$. If you wish to put others at risk with poor driving habits you should pay the fine.
