[U/D] POLICE, Hatzolah, EMS and LFA have had more than their share for the day, responding to over a dozen Motor Vehicle Accidents in the last 3 hours alone, with the latest two MVA’s just moments ago. Most of the crashes were not serious, but several of them resulted in injuries. At least two of the accidents involved three vehicles.
Please use extreme caution when driving during the inclement weather, as the roads – especially when littered with leaves – can prove extremely dangerous. TLS-CCP
Update 7:25 p.m. As of this time, there has been well over 20 MVAs.

Obey the rules – like I do, and most of the residents do. Learn how to drive BEFORE you drive your vehicle. STOP SIGNS mean STOP; RED LIGHTS mean STOP. Here’s another tip: stay off of your cell phones. Who are you calling that’s so urgent that you can’t wait until you’re home. You live in Lakewood – what’s so important that it can’t wait? It’s a real shame what happened to this town. Oh well…
check your tires
My tires were rubbed out and I went through a light that had just turned yellow. When I reached the intersection the light turned red so I slammed on the brakes but because my tires were rubbed out I had no traction. I went skidding right across the intersection. Thanks to my ABS I didnt spin out.
But anyone who has old tires- please change them.
#2 sure sounds nebbach farbissen, to make a blanket statement that has zero truth to it. Lakewood Hatzolah has 100% excellent coverage. Always wonder why these comments get aproved.
