  1. So what is new? JCP&L continues to let customers down. It is time for an in-depth audit of their business practices, and their role as a regulated utility.

They are a monopoly, and therefore they need to keep the power on in their service areas, or perhaps the State of NJ should begin looking for options, and/or other providers.

  2. I’m 35 years old and in my entire life I can’t remember living in a place with so many outages. I have lived in lakewood for 3 years and have experienced more power outages then in my entire life. Something is very flawed with the infastructure in lakewood

  3. To fred – 1:20 PM —- The electrical system in Lakewood cannot keep up with all the new housing going on. Each new housing unit adds more load to the already overloaded system. It’s the same as with the roads – more housing equals more traffic than the roads were designed for.

  4. Fred if you don’t like it here leave. I am sick of all the newcomers complaining!

Go back to boro park where you can spend ur whole day parking
