PHOTOS: What started off with just 7 Baalei Batim, has grown to over 40 members designating an hour of their work day to a vibrant Shiur with Hagaon Rav Lazer Apter Shlita.Today, the Baalei Batim joined the famed Magid Shiur in a catered Mesibah celebrating the Siyum of Mesechta Sotah – the third Mesechta completed B’Iyun at the morning Shiur.
The morning Shiur, founded by R’ Avi Braude approximately three years ago, is in addition to the Daf Yomi Shiur given by Rav Apter each evening.
The Shiurim take place at the Zichron Binyomin Shul, at the corner of 7th Street and Princeton Avenue.
The morning Shiur takes place between 9:15 am-10:15 am. The Shiur will begin Mesechta Rosh Hashana Monday morning.
The evening Daf Yomi Shiur is given between 8:30 pm-9:30 pm, followed by Maariv.
What a kiddush Hashem. Lakewood should be very proud.
I think I wanna go
How many daf a week?
What does it take to get in? Do you need pull?
It took the shiur 2 years to learn Sotah! You figure that out….
Pull? Just shtell tikun every yahrtzeit you skip tachanun. And turn your cellphone off.
R’ Avi is such an amazing tzaddik. Although he’s officially a balabos, he’s as torahdig as a full time Ben Torah. He’s also a groiser Gaon. Hatzlocho R’ Avi !! DB. (Btw, who spoke @ the siyum ? I can’t tell from the pic.)
I have yet to read a negative comment on TLS from Dudi B. He’s influencing me and I’m starting to be less cynical. Sort of.
We’re us the evening shiur given? I would like to attend
