UPDATED: Over 2,500 JCP&L customers in Lakewood without power

Thousands in Lakewood are without power this afternoon.

Outages are being reported in the area of Coventry, Gourmet Glatt Plaza, West Kennedy Boulevard and more.

The cause is unknown at this time.

Power id expected to be restored by 5:30 PM.

UPDATE 5:15PM: JCPL says now power is expected to be restored by 8PM.

power keeps on going off and then on again. Every time this happens I keep having to restart my oven! Very Annoying! I’m trying to cook for Shabbos!

Same here! Just be thankful it is not off for longer, then your oven would be of no use
