PHOTOS: Over 200 boys gathered at the Bais Hatorah hall to celebrate a great Torah milestone for themselves this past week, with the celebration of the 3rd annual Likras Shabbos siyum on Hilchos Borir. Now entering its 5th successful year, Likras Shabbos has revolutionized the way young boys view both the Halachos and preparation related to the holiest day of the week.
Likras Shabbos – with groups in Lakewood and many other communities in numerous cities throughout North America – features a meticulously organized four year curriculum teaching children ages nine through thirteen the complex highly relevant Halachos of Bishul and Borer.
The program, which features paid professional Rebbeim, takes place in local neighborhood Shuls each Friday, beteen Sukkos and Shavuos.

Great program! My son loves it!
Great idea parents should encourage there children to go otherwise they will nd up like some of us who unfortunately don’t know the basic halocas
keep up the good work
My son has been attending for three years. His knowledge of the halachos is amazing. Wish they had such a program when I was young.
Is there a site where I can find a list of shuls in Lakewood that have Likras Shabbos groups?
