Over 10,000 Attend The Rich Roberts Chol Hamo’ed Event

Between 11-13,000 people attended this year’s Rich Robert Chol Hamo’ed Event, Dr. Rich Roberts estimates. Rich says there were 7,800 Pekalach given out to children, and 12,000 cotton candies produced and given out.

The free bi-annual event featured rides, rock climbing, an obstacle course, moon bounce, fun slide, a petting zoo, juggler, magician and rides in police military vehicles.

LCSW and Chaveirim were on hand at the event to assist with parking.

The event began several years ago in the Roberts’ backyard, and has since grown by leaps and bounds requiring the event to be moved to Pine Park.

  2. Dear Dr. Roberts,
You made our day yesterday. I cannot enumerate all the specific features of the carnival that my children and grandchildren enjoyed because I had the double pleasure of a safe place to drop them off (under the responsible care of an adult child) and the ability to provide entertainment for my adolescent children. From the vantage of the car, however, I witnessed the general simcha and enjoyment of the participants – from the extremely organized entrance and exit, under the supervision of the various safety organizations of Lakewood, to the apparent joy and satisfaction of those entering and exiting. When my children and grandchildren came back after several enjoyable hours happy and content, I heard about the adorable animals, exciting slides, and delightful prizes and treats. I know that I have no way of estimating how many hours of hard work and care to detail this project entails, in addition to the many thousands of dollars invested into this enormous chesed.

Thank you Dr. Roberts for this wonderful Yom Tov Gift you gave my family and our community. May Hash-m bentch you with gezunt, koach, hatzlocha, nachas, and brocha.

    A Very Grateful Lakewood Resident
