VIDEO: Over 1,000 from Lakewood and surrounding towns took part in a Mud Run today as they raise funds for various charities. Contestants of the MudManX are required to run through muddy hills,
trails and obstacle courses encompassing the four elements of Nature; Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water.
The course takes about 90 minutes to complete.
The event was initially to take place last year, but was cancelled last minute due to insurance purposes.
The Police, Fire Department, EMS and First Aid were all on hand for the day’s event. TLS.
What a great way to show the amazing physical feats that hashem has given our bodies, I wish I could have been a part of this.
Where did it take place? If i recall correctly, last time it was supposed to be at the Blue Claws stadium…………….
ok but why are these fine yuong men putting theirselves in danger? and how does the charities get money from it?
looks like fun!
Who paid for the Fire truck that was there? What would happen if it got broke? Hey Larry thought you were voted in to watch for this thinks.
heres the real question. Who is paying for Blue Claws to fix up their fields?
to #2: the event started and ended at the stadium.
to #3: you only put yourself in danger if you exceed your limits. Money from the event’s registration fees go towards the donations (American Red Cross & Soldiers Angels). No I dont know how much they will receive.
to #4: it was a blast.
to #5: lighten up
to #6: there was no damage done to the Stadium. The majority of the 5 mile course was outside the stadium property in the surrounding woods.

who pays for all the other special affairs that the public works, police, fire, ems, OEM attend during the year? Don’t hear you moaning about that! If you’re not happy there’s always another village looking for a new complainer. If the town does for one group, they do for all that’s how it works. Nice to see people raising money for good causes.
to # 5 For your FYI when fire fighters and equipment are deployed for Fire Watch weather it Be indoors or Outdoors the Organization pays for the usage of the Fire Fighters and Equipment. Fire Watches Have nothing to do with the Commissioners it is Requested by the Ocean County Fire Marshals and the Fire Cheif. Pepole should have their Brain in gear before they put their Fingers in Gear
