Over 1000 in Lakewood without power; Traffic lights out

Over 1000 JCPL customers are without power in Lakewood this afternoon.

Homes and businesses in the Lakewood/Toms River border area are without power, and traffic lights are out as well.

JCPL does not list a cause for the outage, but says power is expected to be restored by 6:30 PM.
