Boys throughout the Lakewood area are gearing up for the most anticipated event of the year! Get ready for the Annual Ride4Regesh Bikeathon, a source of immense excitement. Join hundreds of boys as they pedal for a great cause, creating a day filled with unparalleled fun and thrills. We’re thrilled to celebrate the sixth year of Ride4Regesh, and the number of participants continues to grow steadily. With over 1,000 boys already signed up, we have already surpassed the 1,000 mark for the first time this year!
On Sunday, July 2nd, an enthusiastic multitude of bikers will gather at Stadium Way. Supported by their proud families, friends, and siblings, they will embark on a ride of approximately one mile, traversing Avenue of the States and Boulevard of the Americas before returning to the Blue Claws stadium parking lot. The ride is expected to last around 15-20 minutes.
The impressive procession of riders will be accompanied by a police escort, courtesy of the Lakewood Police Department. Esteemed officials and dignitaries, including Lakewood Mayor Ray Coles, will attend to show their support for the riders and the impactful work of Regesh. Hatzolah, Chaveirim, and a bike specialist will also be present to assist any riders who encounter difficulties with their bikes. After the exhilarating ride, each participant will receive a well-deserved medal and be treated to a refreshing surprise. It’s an extraordinary way to commemorate your remarkable achievement!
With over 1,000 riders, this is likely the largest all-boys bikeathon in the country, and possibly even the world! It will undoubtedly be a highlight of Summer 2023 that will be etched in memories for years to come. The atmosphere will be electrifying as the boys revel in the exhilaration of their accomplishments. Even if a boy doesn’t enjoy riding a bike, he can still participate as an R4R Raiser and help raise funds for this important cause. Girls who want to be part of the cause can also join.

Every registered participant receives a personal fundraising page that they can share with friends and family to encourage support for their efforts. Each rider commits to raising a minimum of $100 for Regesh, and the more they raise, the better the prize they can win! Raisers will receive the same amazing prizes as riders!
