Outpouring of support and help after Lakewood family loses their belongings to a fire; Here’s how you can help

Earlier today, we put out a Tweet about the Lakewood family who lost their belongings in yesterday’s fire – and the response was amazing.

Multiple local stores reached out and offered to help the family get back on their feet.

The family of 8, with 6 children under the age of 10, lost pretty much all their clothing due to the smoke damage – and were forced out of their home.

Stores that already stepped up to help include; Hosiery Park, Pastels, Yankels, the Gallery, Esti’s Boutique, Mary Kay by Leah Turin, Tottini, and Misameach – which is donating toys to the children. Yapchik offered the family to come eat by them and take whatever food they need.

If your business would like to help out the family, please contact us at [email protected]. TLS will be adding in this article all the names of the participants.

Should you wish to donate to the family, you can do so here.
