Opinion: Attention Democrats: Quit whining like babies

gop dems electionsYes, it has been a rocky election season, but it’s about time the democrats just sit down and keep quiet for a change.

Had Clinton won and the republicans questioned the election results, all would have broken loose, calling them cheaters, crybabies, immature, scam artists and everything in between. Yet, that passed with the green party candidate allegedly pocketing millions of dollars for herself – but nobody says a word.

That’s right, it’s because she wasn’t a republican, and she even got the loser Clinton to join her in her scam.

And then comes along another democrat, Civil Rights Leader John Lewis, who sits there criticizing the democracy the democrats pre-election they vowed to uphold – by questioning the legitimacy of Trump. You don’t like him? I feel bad for you, Lewis. Grab a tissue and cry, but stop questioning the democracy we live in.

His comments drew criticism from Preibus and other top republicans, and even from some of the remaining respectable democrats.

But yet when Trump responds the way he typically does – through Twitter – suddenly he becomes the punching bag? And suddenly everyone who criticizes him becomes racist too, right? Unreal.

How about you keep your people under control, democrats? Trump has done more prior to his swearing in than some of you have done all your years in office.

Face it: You lost the election miserably, even with your crybaby recount, now move on and quit making the country miserable. And how about getting your liberal media buddies – including the Clinton News Network – to start covering real news, and stop covering up the way you have during the entire election season.

  1. Barry, please remind us again how the GOP acted for the past 8 years? Your upset at Lewis, a true hero, who spilled his blood for civil rights for delegitimizing Trump. What do you think Trump and other right wingers did by delegitimizing Pres Obama by demanding a birth certificate? Questioning if he was eligible to be president. Sorry Barry, your getting no pass on this one.

  2. @Ms Candy Kane, To be a President in USA you have to be a natural born citizen, so EVEN if you were legally elected, it is fair to be asked to show your birth certificate to prove that you are eligible to be President. Obama could have done just that and request that state of Hawaii release his original birth record, and all would be resolved.
As for Lewis’s comments, Trump was legally elected president, and just saying that it was illegitimate, is plain undemocratic and baby talk. Even if Russia helped him, all that info was already reported before the election, and the people still voted for him. So that makes him completely legitimate! Lewis’s comments are attacking the fundamentals of the Republic, and are bordering on Anarchy. He may be a great man for his early deeds, but shame on him for his last comments.
Sorry if you don’t understand the difference.

  3. Chacham, your first point is ridiculous. President Obama had no obligation to accommodate racist conspiracy theorists by releasing his birth certificate. Has Donald Trump released his own birth certificate? No. Did anyone ask George W. Bush or Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan to release their birth certificates? No, no, and no. Geeee – I wonder what was different about President Obama. The accusations that he was born in Kenya were ridiculous, and more importantly, they were thinly-veiled racism with absolutely no basis. Even after Barack Obama released his long-form birth certificate, there were still racists who publicly doubted his place of birth – Donald Trump among them. Shame on you for defending the propagators of this outrageous racist conspiracy theory.
