The winners will be chosen this Motzei Shabbos, May 19, with a live drawing at the Oorah-thon. It’s going to be an action-packed night full of inspiration and entertainment, airing live from Oorah’s Lakewood headquarters. Donate now and you could be the one surprised by a call from Lipa at 3 in the morning!
The program kicks off at 10:00 pm with Fiveish hour for fans to call in and speak with Fiveish himself. The program continues long into the night with in-studio performances from big names in Jewish entertainment, including the NY Boys Choir, Shloime Dachs and Michoel Pruzansky. Also featured is a Dueling Rabbis™ faceoff, this year in an exciting interactive format.
The real highlight of the night is the opportunity to hear from the very people whose lives Oorah has changed. Listen to Elizabeth tell her journey, a heroic story of one family’s relocation to a Jewish community. Hear from TheZone campers and volunteer staff. Let the stories from the Frontlines of Kiruv touch your heart.
The Oorah-thon will air on radio stations across the country and will be streaming live on oorah.org. Watch it this Motzei Shabbos!

#5 and 6
I listened years ago and while I do recall some but it still doesn’t justify all the plain garbage. While you might say and are you learning so why do you care?
The answer to that is very simple a yeshiva is supposed to be an urey miklat were it is held of the highest standard being Oorah is in the “yeshiva business” they need and MUST represent that I have no issue with what they do on the kiruv side i wish they do more but it bothers me tremendously when I see them bring down the status of klal yisroel with the excuse of what should we do we need $ and that’s the only way to get it.
No one ever said it was easy and its not meant to be but its not acceptable to keep people up and wear santa hats as well as make a chillul hashem on the news +++ for $.
Feivish is counterfeit.
