One Ocean County is excited to announce its upcoming Fall Festival at their Common Grounds Community Garden on Sunday, November 3rd. This will be the organiation’s third fall festival with previous events drawing upwards of 500 attendees.
The event will take place 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM | John Patrick Sports Complex, Lakewood, NJ.
Set in the heart of Lakewood’s John Patrick Sports Complex, this year’s event promises a day filled with fun, learning, and community spirit. The festival is free and open to all, making it an accessible and inclusive celebration of the fall season.
The event, supported by our many sponsors including the Jewish Federation of Ocean County, Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, and the Ocean County Soil Conservation District. will offer a variety of activities designed to engage people of all ages and backgrounds. Attendees can explore self-guided tours of the thriving community garden, meet animals at the petting zoo, ride a pony, participate in fall-themed crafts and games, as well as visit our vendor booths.
A highlight of the festival will be the return of the Revolutionary War Trailer, courtesy of the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, featuring interactive historical exhibits, including a replica of the Liberty Bell and educational games for children and adults alike.
Common Grounds Community Garden is a public garden this is a project of One Ocean County in partnership with Lakewood Township. Thriving in it’s fourth season, the garden has become a vibrant hub for community engagement, welcoming hundreds of visitors for educational programs, volunteering, and special events.
In addition to our event sponsors, the garden is supported by the hard work and dedication of local volunteers as well as the input of local community agencies including the Lakewood Police Department, and Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority.
While the festival is free, donations are welcomed to support the ongoing efforts of One Ocean County in promoting community unity and cultural exchange through its various projects.
