Officials, Family Pay Final Respects to Former Lakewood Police Officer, Firefighter

PHOTO: Emergency personnel from Lakewood paid their final respects today to fellow colleague and friend, Mario Del Valle.

Del Valle, who died suddenly last week, was a former Lakewood Police Officer and Lakewood Firefighter. He was in his mid-forties

The hearse was led through town in a procession led by Lakewood’s Police, Fire, and EMS Departments.

Thank you so much for this video! I am Mario’s oldest cousin on the
Del Valle side of the family from Florida.. I was unable to attend the funeral but watching this video was like I was there.

Also, Thank you to the Lakewood Police & Fire Dept. for such an honoring farewell to my cousin and for the outpouring of love and compassion to our family. This is not the first time our family has been blessed by the Department. In. 2002 & 2012 when our Grandparents passed away.

I am proud to say I’m from Lakewood, NJ!
