Official Trailer Of Berel & The Bus Driver Released

Berel And The Bus Driver pic 3VIDEO: The trailer of the first ever full motion picture film produced by Rebbee Hill, has just been released. Berel and The Bus Driver, which features Rebbee Hill and Shaya Schonfeld as the main actors, was shot mostly in areas in and around Lakewood, as exclusively reported on TLS. (See exclusive behind the scenes footage here).

The film is being released by Torah Umesorah and is set to be released Chanukah time, with showings in Jewish Communities throughout the U.S.

Rebbee Hill, son of Actor Steven Hill, has been producing children’s tapes for many years, and has since taken his talents to the next level.

His first slide show film, titled Klei Yakar, drew thousands of viewers to showings around Lakewood, Brooklyn, Chicago, Toronto and many other Jewish Communities.

This latest film however – in large contrast to the first – is a full motion picture film, and not still shots.

  1. Why am i the only one that sees a movie , albeit a frum movie as a problem ??? My children look up to rebbe hill as they listen to all his tapes, when they find out about this movie, am I then going to have to let them watch it (theyve never watched a video in their life)??

  2. Let’s give credit to Shaya Schoenfeld, the guy with the long nose who put together this trailer. And of course I know he’s reading this comment right now, so Shaya, this is for you!!!

  3. To Krumakop #9:
Your comment to # 7 about stifeling his children shows that you didn’t understantd his complaint.
If you look at the end of his comment you will see that he wrote “when they find out about this movie, am I then going to have to let them watch it”?? Acording to your idea of not stifeling children, he is right!when this movie comes out he would HAVE TO let them watch it, and that is exactly what his complaint is about. Why do we have to CREATE more temptations than we already have?? If he managed to help his children keep away from seeing movies until now by having them understand that movies are usualy not condusive to torah upbringing, now he will have a bigger problem because this movie is about a Jewish topic produced by frum yidden. Once they start getting a taste of movies the boundries need to me made and things get more complicated. (as with all those who go to movies and say I only watch good movies, or closer to home those who use unfiltered internet and say I only use it for “good stuff”. Why should we let the yetzer Hora in the door??
If there are those who have already fallen to the level where they MUST have movies, of course a torah- Ideal movie is better thann a pg-13 movie, but we must realize that its a “better than” option not a good option.
Knowing that Rebbe Hill is a real Ben-torah I would assume that he DID onsult with Daas Torah on the matter, (good point #6), and we should therefore find out what and for who were the details of the anwer he received. We should Definately NOT be berating those who are trying to keep a “Lechatchila” level of chinuch in thier home.
