Lakewood police officers rushed to multiple banks this afternoon after receiving a report of a bank robbery, TLS has learned.

Around 2 PM, police reportedly received a call reporting a robbery at the TD bank in Lakewood, but upon arrival found nothing.

Several other banks in Lakewood were checked as well to ensure there was no confusion. All were unfounded.

Police are reportedly working with the County and neighboring townships to try and track down the call.
