PHOTOS: A Lakewood Police Officer was unharmed after being involved in a crash late last night. Police say a driver crashed into the patrol car at the intersection of Pine Street and
New Hampshire Avenue, sending the patrol car onto the grass. The other vehicle’s airbags deployed.
The officer was not hurt, but the other driver was transported to the hospital and released.
The driver was issued a summons for Careless Driving. [TLS-46/TLS-MK/TLS-WY/TLS-28].
hmm are we sure it was the other drivers fault?
at the ratre PD cars are going and the time it takes for the new ones to get on the road, I think PD will need horses soon…….
of course lpd wouldn’t issue himself a ticket
Thank G-D he wasnt doing a pedestrian drill.
Was the officer on a cell phone?
Somehow I cannot believe the comments that are being posted. This intersection is the scene of many serious and sometimes deadly traffic crashes.
Let us thank God that the Officer was not injured, as he was on duty protecting and defending the people of Lakewood Township.
#6 what about the other drivers’ well being..?or is the cop life more precious?????? you pls. r a joke
Thank you Officer for your service.
Mr. scared lkwd driver,
I think Mr Hobday made a valid point. When a person suffers a mishap while in our service it behooves us to take a greater interest in his predicament.
I didn’t see in Mr Hobday’s comment any disregard for the others involved in the crash.
I suspect that he took offense at the comments besmirching the integrity of the members of LPD, and I do too.
I can’t believe some of these coments !
