October Snow Falls In Lakewood

It’s an usual sight in Lakewood this October evening, as snow started to fall at about 6:30 PM. After all, residents just finishing packing away their Sukkas. But don’t expect to see any snow plows on your street tonight. According to the National Weather Service, the snow will be turning to rain after 11pm, with a low of around 33. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

Sunday will be sunny, with a high near 47.

JCP&L is reporting that thousands of residents in Union, Middlesex and other northern Counties are without power this evening, although only about 39 residents are without power in Ocean.

Governor Christie today has declared a State Of Emergecny as snow and strong rains pound the region.

Some parts of NJ could see up to a foot of snow by late tonight. TLS-WC.
