OCHD: Three additional coronavirus cases in Ocean County

The Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) is reporting that three new positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Ocean County.

The new COVID-19 patients are a male from Toms River and a woman from Berkeley Township. It is the second positive case of COVID-19 for each of those municipalities.

A woman from Jackson also tested positive.

The new cases brings the total number of confirmed positive cases to 6 in Ocean County.

Is it considered a breach of confidentiality to release info about the person with a positive diagnosis’ general whereabouts to be able to quarantine people that were exposed

There are 100’s more. We just do not have enough tests. I’m home sick with all the symptoms and my Dr. said we dont have how to test you…
Maybe we can buy the Covid 19 testing kit on Amazon?

  There are tests available in NJ. If your Dr. really thought you had it, strange he wouldn’t have sent you for testing

There are hundreds of cases in Lakewood. They just weren’t confirmed.
There are over a dozen confirmed cases in Lakewood. Post the confirmed cases already so people will take this seriously!!!!!!!!!

  I’m wondering the same thing. I know a PA that works in Lakewood that has the facts. Why is the public not being told about it so the quarantine will be taken seriously?

Testing in only being done in cases of extreme symptoms, or for people living with elderly or sick family members. There aren’t enough tests for everyone, and the doctors don’t want everyone coming in. Instructions from local doctors are: If you have symptoms, consider yourself positive and quarantine!! That includes your family. Identifying locations of confirmed cases is useless. It’s everywhere!!

Lakewood residents were in centra state hospital positive with test results. I am a nurse there. Why is this not being made public??? No one will take this seriously unless they realize how serious it is!!

Notice how TLS had the OCHD on every day until Sunday saying there are no confirmed cases in Lakewood. Then on Sunday when a Shul texts all it’s members that 2 members have tested positive, TLS has yet to say anything! Who knows how many more cases have already been confirmed and the fascists are just sweeping it under the rug!
