OCHD Plans Swine Flu Clinics- Eligible, Include Pregnant Women And EMS Workers

h1n1 swine fluThe Ocean County Health Department will have two swine flu inoculation clinics next week, which will increase the number and types of people who will be able to receive the vaccines. The health department will hold two walk-in clinics next week. The first is at Jackson Liberty High School on Monday. The second is at Southern Regional Middle School on Thursday. The people who are eligible to receive the vaccine are: Pregnant women, care-givers to children under 6 months old, health care and emergency medical services workers, anyone 6 months old to 24 years old, and anyone between 24 and 64 years old with other health conditions. 

Both clinics run from 3 to 7:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary for the clinic.

Inoculations began earlier this week and were only offered to the people experts say are most susceptible to the virus. APP
