OHI (Ocean Health Initiatives), a federally qualified health care center (FQHC), is offering free H1N1 Flu Shots to pregnant women only, Tuesday evening, November 10 at its Toms River site, 301 Lakehurst Road, from between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary and you do not have to be a patient of OHI. OHI is also offering both free H1N1 flu shot and flu mist to the public, all age groups, Saturday, November 14 at its Lakewood site, 101 Second Street, from 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary and you do not have to be a patient of OHI.
About OHI: OHI, a federally qualified health center (FQHC), provides comprehensive preventative and primary care, including pediatrics, maternal and child health, prenatal, WIC, universal immunizations, and dental health to the area’s uninsured, underinsured, and undocumented residents on a sliding-fee scale, based on an individual’s or family’s ability to pay. chemed is only giving it to its patients.if your not a patient there don’t bother.
The flu shot is really dangerous for your health. You can check out the facts on many web sites. Let them get their shots on Shabbos, it’s better for us not to get any. There are healthier ways to prevent getting the flu. (You never publish comments against the shot, but, I am saying this l’toeles horabbim.)
chemed is a public clinic legaly you should be able to go and get the shot if your within the govt category of those to be vaccinated first. even if your not a patient.
