Ocean County Weather Update

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1:00 PM Tuesday for Ocean, Eastern Monmouth and Southeastern Burlington Counties.

Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches is expected, with winds gusting as high as 55 mph, strongest near the coast.

Rain and mixed precipitation should change back to snow this afternoon into this evening.

It’s possible (particularly further south) that rain does not change back to snow, and no additional snow accumulation occurs.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree limbs and power lines, resulting in power outages.

  1. We all know the snow is going to cause issues. Maybe take the garbage cans up and move cars to help the township workers plow easier. They work hard enough let’s do our part in helping.
