Ocean County and Jackson Township officials today visited Bartley Road — in the Hampshire Hills, Harfield, and Hyson area — to scout and plan potential road and sidewalk upgrades.
This area sees heavy foot traffic but currently has limited sidewalk infrastructure.
Community leader Uri Davidi led the initiative to bring County and Township officials together to address the issue and explore solutions.
Among those present were: Ocean County Commissioner Frank Sadeghi, County Engineer Mark F. Jehnke, Assistant County Road Supervisor Arthur W. Reece, Jackson Council President Jennifer Kuhn, and Council Vice President Mordy Burnstein.
They were seen on-site carefully evaluating the conditions and discussing plans for significant infrastructure improvements.
