The Ocean County Health Department expanded its COVID-19 vaccine clinic services by holding a drive-thru clinic today at Ocean County Community College in Toms River.
The drive-thru setup was an important opportunity for staff & volunteers to “test drive” the new operation and will also hold a second clinic next Wednesday.
The OCHD anticipates announcing more drive-thru clinic dates in the coming weeks for individuals with particular needs and other eligible residents when significant supplies of vaccine start to arrive.
The OCHD says it appreciates appreciate the public’s patience while understanding the challenges faced by the current extreme shortage of Covid-19 vaccines.
