The Ocean County Health Department has requested that TLS publish this important notice: “We noticed some recipes have come out in a Lakewood publication for ice cream made with eggs blended with a few other products and put immediately into the freezer. Eggs must be PASTEURIZED or cooked, as they can cause Foodborne illnesses. Freezing does not kill certain bacteria.”

nah….when u ad the ingredient called shabbos or yom tov, every recipe is good to go…no need to worry.
Most eggs are pasteurized
Eggs are NOT pasterized
I never had a problem with raw eggs. Most eggs are not infected with salmonella.
Pasteurized eggs don’t whip well. Buy ice cream instead if u can.
Hey Joe know- your right there not “pasterized” lol but some are pasteurized as well as most egg products.
This warning is mamash pikuach Nefesh. People die from rotten eggs, salmonia and food poisoning . Ice cream made with raw eggs will go bad very fast and chas veshulom chas veshulom chad veshulom the worst can happen. Take that recipe off the shelf immediately . People should think twice before following blindly just because some (moderated) came up with a ice cream recipe. Have a kosher and healthy pesach everyone .
