The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders in conjunction with the Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management announced the Residential Document Shredding program.
The Residential Document Shredding program is to provide residents and taxpayers with the opportunity to recycle their old documents and files safely and securely. The program is for all paper documents and paper forms.
The service representatives are uniformed, bonded and insured and the shredding unit features an automatic feeding and dumping system, eliminating human contact with your documents and forms. Each vehicle is limited to 6 boxes or bags of documents each day.
The program will be held on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the county. In Lakewood, the program will be held at the Public Works yard, 1 America Avenue, on Friday November 16, from 9AM-1PM. TLS.
