Temperatures will be plummeting to single digits tonight, and will feel a lot colder than that.
A Wind Chill Advisory was issued today, and will remain in effect from 9PM this evening through 10AM on Monday.
Expect wind chills ranging from 5 above zero to 10 below zero.
“The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin,” the Service said.
“A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.”
Temperatures will remain below the freezing mark through next week.
