NWS: Snow Accumulation About an Inch; Roads Icy

No need to get those snow-blowers out just yet. According to the National Weather Service, Lakewood will only be getting in total about an inch of snow accumulation this evening.

Multiple accidents have already been reported since the snow started falling at about 8 PM.

Roads are icy, and will only get worse through the night as temperatures fall below the freezing mark.

Supposed to be significant accumulation this Friday. Usually that means 6 or more inches, but still too early to tell for sure.

I just wanted to let ppl know that chesterfield has not been salted and is a sheet of ice. Please be careful and maybe the town can send a salt truck. Tx so much
