A High Wind Warning was issued by the National Weather Service for strong and potentially damaging winds moving into the area.
The winds, and rain, will move in late tonight and remain through Monday evening.
The High wind warning remains in effect from 3 am to 9 pm Monday.
Strong winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected, and can cause downed trees and power lines. Power outages are expected.
Residents are urged to tie down any loose items around their homes – such as empty trash cans and toys.
