  1. how many times do people have to be told to “Lock all your doors” and or “Bring all your important stuff in to your house” you would think people would have learned already

  2. To Lakwd:
    What makes it “seem” so??
A better comment would be-it seems RESIDENTS don’t seem to care to much to stop these thefts! Why shouldn’t a teenager looking for a few quick bucks not steal your GPS if you leave your cars open? This is a weekly occurence and you’re not the only one reading the news. So basically you have invited them into town. I used to patrol this town and caught people looking for unlocked vehicles. They wouldn’t bother with locked ones because the next would be unlocked!

  3. I almost can guarantee you I heard shots last night at 1:00 am in the forest behind high point. About six, one after the other. I’m almost sure it wasn’t fireworks and I was too scared to call the cops. Anyone know what they were? Is there shomrim out on succos nights? I want to order a car to my block! 😉

  4. This must have occurred after 2am as a GPS was stolen from my car after that time. We need residents from the developments to organize shifts to keep an eye out during the late night hours.

  5. Its amazing how everyone always yells at LCSW, who do they think they are, there not cops. Now everyones asking Where’s LCSW? Bottom line, this town needs LCSW.

  6. its the day after yom kippur, so is it horrible and wrong of me that i started laughing hysterically when i read that the cars were unlocked?
i must be evil, but for some reason, i felt no pity for those who left their cars unlocked as n invitation to have them broken into.. i mean, its not as if we have been warned DOZENS of times to lock our cars , right?

  8. To #12 spellchequer says: “”…Does anyone in Lkwd know the plural of thief?…”

Yes. It is spelled thieves. BTW – “spellchequer” is spelled “spellchecker”. You’re welcome.

  9. Again with the were was lcsW they are giving up there time for free for your benifit, maybe ask were was the police being you pay them to have your junk stolen, or better ask yourself why isn’t anyone calling the lcsw shomrim or the police? You can’t expect units to magically apair at the scene of the crime lock your doors and if hear something call !

  10. #7 like #15 wrote that lcsw is not police
you shouls have called police right away thats what they are there for

#15 agree as all people will do iscomplain let them join lcsw as they are very short on members now !

#13 i am waitng for this such a long time please call me to arrange it

  11. ‘Yes. It is spelled thieves. BTW – “spellchequer” is spelled “spellchecker”.’

Someone is lacking a sense of humor. That was clearly on purpose.

  12. My car was “locked” as was 2 of my neighbors cars. they stole my gps and some change, ransacked my glove compartment and left the door open didn’t want to wake anyone up in the middle of the night
