Thank you very much Lakewood Township once again for all the fine work you do to keep our town up and running
Kennedy Blvd is a county road and Lakewood had nothing to do with the project except some minor input.
I can’t find Clifton STREET on the Google map. Between what two streets is it located?
Lol
Does this make any sense to do a milling and repaving when there are plans on the table to completely redesign all of Kennedy Blvd and the corresponding section of County Line Rd? Why not just maintain it until the redesign instead of spending all that money?
Welcome to Lakewood
To the thumbs down people, you do realize that the county has drawn up plans to reconstruct Kennedy Blvd by widening it and changing the configuration of much of the road. How can you justify spending a boatload of money on something that’s just going to be torn up within the next year or two. That’s like my street. It was repaved a couple of years back after over at least 40+ years of potholes and patches. This year the water company comes in and digs up everything and made a mess of our street. It would have made more sense to wait and repave after the water company did their work. But “thank you Lakewood for the great job you’re doing “.
I think you should change your name to bittul zman.First you say it has nothing to do with lakewood then you blame lakewood.
Please read my response again. I stated the COUNTY is responsible for Kennedy Blvd and then I compared the situation to what happened on my street which is a TOWNSHIP street. So to recap, the COUNTY is going to be wasting time and tax dollars now on resurfacing Kennedy because it will be torn up again within a year or so. The TOWNSHIP should have waited to repave my TOWNSHIP street until after the water company replaced the lines so that our street will not need further work in the near future that our tax dollars, not NJAWC money, will pay for.
This repaying should have occurred during the 2010s. The redesign will not happen until the 2030s.
